Patient Facing Services API (IM1)

The Medicus Patient Facing Services API implements the GP Connect Patient Facing Services national specification defined by NHS England. It allows patients authenticated via NHS Login to access their GP record through the NHS App or other accredited patient applications: viewing their structured clinical record, accessing clinical documents, listing and requesting repeat prescriptions, and checking their online access permissions.

All onboarding and assurance for this API is managed by NHS England directly. Medicus does not run a separate assurance process for PFS integrations.
