Find, match and read patients

📄️Find Patient

Free-text search for patients by name, NHS number, date of birth, or other demographics. Returns a list of matching patients.

📄️Match Patient

Resolves a single patient from supplied demographics. Provide one of: NHS number; NHS number plus demographics (date of birth, family name, postcode) to verify; or date of birth plus given name and family name. Returns the matched patientId only when exactly one record matches.

📄️Get Patient Demographics

Returns the demographic details for a single patient. Empty fields are omitted from the response.
